Mark Achter has had a passion for woodworking since his early years. He has been on job sites since the age of 7 alongside his father building their home in Layton. His father was a journeyman cabinet maker and instilled the desire for creating things with wood,

Mark first met the founder of Peterson Builders: Lynn Peterson as they both served on NWHBA. He later landed a job at Peterson Builders and has enjoyed working with Lynn’s sons, Ben and Jason.

He loves what he does because of his ability to interact with and ultimately deliver the home the client has been dreaming of is extremely fulfilling for him. Mark looks forwards to, many more years at Peterson Builders with their wonderful clients.
