James Deschamp is a Project Manager at Peterson Builders with 35 years of experience in the construction industry. His background is rooted in high-end condominium and apartment projects, where he has led complex multifamily developments and managed projects from early planning through completion. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and maintains General Contractor licenses in both California and Utah.

At Peterson Builders, James oversees subcontractor scopes of work, billing requirements, and overall project coordination. He enjoys working closely with clients and collaborating on design decisions to ensure concepts are successfully integrated into construction. James believes Peterson Builders stands apart because of its depth of experience and commitment to delivering quality projects.

James approaches every project with open-book communication, ensuring his clients have clear visibility into progress, decisions, and challenges. He is dedicated to providing focused attention to both the project and the client. Originally from Westhope, North Dakota, James now lives in Ogden, Utah. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, woodworking, and spending time supporting his grandchildren.
