Craftsman

Colby Fleming is a Craftsman at Peterson Builders with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career in 1990 framing residential homes in Salt Lake City before expanding his experience in the Pacific Northwest, including time in Seattle, and returning to Utah in 2024. Colby holds a B100 General Contractor license in the state of Utah and has developed a comprehensive skill set across all phases of carpentry, from structural framing through detailed finish work.

Throughout his career, Colby has worked alongside some of the most respected builders in the country, including serving as a foreman and craftsman with Dowbuilt in Seattle. His experience includes high-end custom projects for notable clients, where precision, discretion, and craftsmanship are essential. At Peterson Builders, Colby supports both framing and finish work, contributing wherever needed to ensure each project meets the company’s standards for quality and detail.

Colby approaches every project with the mindset of building each home as if it were his own, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, communication, and accountability. He is committed to keeping clients informed throughout the building process while delivering work that reflects the highest level of care and attention. Colby lives in South Ogden with his girlfriend and their black lab, and in his free time enjoys riding motorcycles, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
